Farmer and the Viper

“Farmer and the Viper” is Arcus Productions entry for the 2008 Des Moines 48 Hour Film Project. We were given a genre (Fable), a line of dialogue (“What’s it to ya pal?”), a character (Alan West, Traveling Salesman) and a prop (blue painters tape). What we ended up with was a version of the Farmer and the Viper fable shot as a silent film. I served as an Assistant Editor and Music Editor.
The piece won 2nd place for Audience Choice and 1st place for Music Direction.
